Happy Reformation & Halloween!!

Ok, so I’m a day late, but I was super tired last night.  Yesterday was Reformation Day, and since it was a Festival Sunday, the choir sang at both the 0800 and 1100 services.  Lots of people were wearing red – the color for Reformation Sunday.  The services were both really nice, and we celebrated Confirmation at the 1100 service for 5 9th graders.  After church we headed home and I went for a 7.35 mile run.  Then I made spaghetti for an early dinner before getting me and Robert into our costumes.  Robert was Mario, and I was a witch.  Ryan stayed home to hand out candy here and Robert and I went out to trick or treat on post.  Our best area of the night was senior officer housing.  They had some good candy – not the little tootsie roll or couple of pieces of gum you get some places.  We walked around post for almost 2 hours and had a great time.  Ryan got around 30 or so trick or treaters here.  When we got home, I hit the shower to wash the green stuff out of my hair (spray on hair dye) and Ryan got Robert to bed.  He was sound asleep less than 10 minutes after he was tucked in.  I slept pretty good as well.

This morning, pregnancy PT (yes, I’m still leading that) was in the pool.  After PT, I headed home, got changed, got a roast in the crockpot for dinner, and had breakfast before heading back to work.  I did our daily PERSTAT (personnel status) report and up to where it needs to go and then headed to what was left of a short concert band rehearsal – that was for a Soldier who is working on his warrant officer packet so he can become a band commander.  Once that was done, I spent the rest of the day getting stuff done in my admin office.  I got a lot accomplished since it wasn’t a typical Monday where the world seems to fall apart over the weekend and admin has to fix everything come Monday.  I left at 1530 and put on my soccer mom hat.  I picked Robert up from Child Time, went home so we could both change, and then to pick up Robert’s friend J and then to soccer practice.  J’s mom texted me earlier today and asked if I could pick him up as her daughter had an appointment the same time as practice.    Practice went well and I got a little bit of stitching done while the kids played.  Then, after bringing J back home, we headed home and it sure was nice walking in knowing dinner was ready!!  It was really good.
