We had a no-alarm-clock morning today and it was nice sleeping in until about 0930 or so. We spent the morning just relaxing and doing computer stuff and watching cartoons. Then around noon we headed to Tucson for the afternoon. We went to a different Michaels than we usually go to to look for a few things. We didn’t find what we were looking for, but we found a really neat train for Ryan and Robert to paint and put together. Then we went to Kohls and enjoyed looking around the store. We found some really good deals – and saved close to $250 on what we bought for only a little over $100!!! That included a new 7-piece luggage set that was 60% off. Our current suitcases are showing signs of much traveling and thanks to the airlines meticulous care of our stuff, they’ve begun to get some holes in the fabric, missing supports so they tip over if not leaning against stuff, etc. Then we went to another Michaels with the same amount of luck as the previous one. There are FOUR Michaels stores (and 3 Kohls) in Tucson. After that Michaels, we went to one of the three malls and just walked around for a little while before eating at Red Robin. Then we headed home. I got quite a bit of stitching done today, mostly in the car while Ryan drove, but also some in the evening at home.
