I was on pass today. Rick and I walked Robert to school and then we came home and I finished getting ready. Shortly before 0900 we headed to post, me in uniform. Yup, in uniform on my day off. I had a BQ gig today and Rick came with. It was a TON of fun!!! We played at one of the child development centers on post and the kids LOVED us. After the gig was done, Rick and I came home and got my web cam up and running again, and I updated the web page (www.armytbonegirl.com). Since we have a wireless web cam now, it runs directly off the router and doesn’t need a computer. And I transferred all the web page files from my old desktop computer to my laptop, so now I can update my web page from wherever! Thanks to my computer geek brother for all the help with computer stuff the past few days!!! Rick went and got Robert from school by himself, and Robert was sure excited about that!! We had a nice relaxing afternoon – Legos, computers, books. We needed milk, so Rick and Robert and I went to the grocery store after stopping at the post office to mail a package. Then after the grocery store, we went to the Clothing Exchange here in town and got a pair of shorts and a jean skirt for me and a t-shirt for Robert for $10!!!! Clothing Exchange is like a thrift store, but better quality clothes for the same prices. Then we had to go back to the store for crescent rolls for dinner. We finally got home, and Ryan cooked pigs n’ cheese for dinner. It was really good, as usual. Then after a little while, Rick took us to Cold Stone Creamery for ice cream. Thanks!! Then it was home again for a little bit more play time before Robert went to bed. After he was in bed, I stitched for a little while.
