A very productive Saturday

I slept in until about 0930 or so and that sure was nice.  Then I got up and played on my computer while enjoying a cup of coffee and a bowl of cereal.  Around noon we headed out and went to several places – Sierra Cycles to get leather chaps for Ryan for when he rides his bike (to help keep him warm when it’s cold or rainy), Target to get more toy storage for Robert’s toys and something for our shoes and stuff by the door and a few other things, and the grocery store for our weekly shopping.  Once back home, I got the groceries put away and then I went and folded some clothes.  After I was done with that, I helped Robert in his room and got everything put away.  Or most everything.  We still have a little bit of work to do, but it’s certainly looking a lot better in there.  Then we got the entryway organized and we can actually sit on the bench and put our shoes on!  We went to Golden Corral for dinner, but on our way, we went to Lowe’s for our Valentine’s Day gifts for each other.  Ryan got me some plants for the house – a really pretty spider plant, a yucca plant (2 actually – they are in the same pot), and a small little something for on top of the bookcase in the guest room.  Robert wanted one for his room as well, so I got a second of the small ones.  And we got pots for all of them.  And potting soil.  I got Ryan the tool chest that he’s been looking at every time we go in there.  We got a really good deal on it – they gave us the floor model for $80.  It was regularly $99!!!  Dinner was good after all our hard work all day, and it was nice not having to cook.  Then after we ate, we headed home again and Robert got ready for bed.  After he was tucked in, I stitched for a little bit.
