This morning I got up and went to PT. K rode in with me. The first Friday of the month is Commander’s PT and everyone has to go whether you’re on the incentive program or not. We played frisbee football this morning and it was a lot of fun. The team that I was on won. We had all 3 of the females (me, K, and our commander) and the whole Brass Quintet. After PT it was right to the band hall for good details and the shop heads and MPT Leaders had staff call with Chief and Top. We discuss ongoing projects/tasks, upcoming things, and other issues. The meeting lasted about an hour and then I headed to my office to take care of a few things. Of course, by the time I was done with them and ready for signatures from Chief, she was at lunch, so I waited around until about 1300. Then I headed home and finally ate – all I had had was 2 granola bars before PT and 2 granola bars about 1100. I was HUNGRY. I made a grilled cheese sandwich with swiss cheese, chopped red & green peppers, and fresh mushrooms. It was really good! Then I played on my computer for a bit, but I was falling asleep so I went and took a nap for an hour. Then I ironed Ryan’s Vietnam uniform shirt and helped him finish loading the van. We headed off to the Windmere Hotel here in town and got all his Vietnam stuff unloaded. He’s doing a display for the Vietnam Veterans of America meeting they have tomorrow. After we had the van unloaded, I went and got Robert from Child Time and then we stopped at home to get a few more things for Ryan. We brought them back to him at the hotel and then headed home for the evening. I made mac & cheese for dinner, and I let him stay up later than usual. He played Mario Kart and I stitched. It was a fun evening. After he was in bed, I stitched some more and chatted with Ryan a little bit.
