Now that I’m in HST (Headquarters Support Team), I have to go in for PT accountability at 0700. I went for a 2.47 mile run in 24:08. It was a pretty good pace for me. About 1/2 mile in, the skies opened up and I got soaked. I kept going because I figured I was already wet. After a trip home to change and eat breakfast, pack my lunch, etc., it was back for 0930 formation. After formation we had Brass Quintet rehearsal. That took most of the morning. I stitched at lunch. After lunch we had drill band to practice marching for upcoming ceremonies. That was only about 1/2 hour – and with no horns! Then I was able to get on the computer in my office and do some credit card stuff before salsa rehearsal to close out the day. Salsa went really well. Then it was home. Ryan was at a doctor’s appointment and Robert was with him. Once they got home, we went to the local Chinese place for dinner and then grocery shopping. Ryan took Robert up to bed while I was getting the groceries put away. Then we watched the hockey game and I finished a baby blanket I’ve been working on.
