Tiring Thursday

It was a very supply-ish day today.  SSG B and I met at the band hall at 0830 this morning, and SSG C (fellow supply sergeant from another company in battalion) came and picked us up to go out to Camp Slayer (a neighboring camp).  The SSG B had to go and sign for his IOTV as he had never received one.  It was a pretty easy process and now everyone in the unit has their IOTV.  Then it was back and I got started on the supply documents – serial number changes, serial number additions, lateral transfers, etc.  I had Brass Quintet rehearsal from 1030 to 1130 and then lunch.  After lunch I got a good bit more done before Salsa Band rehearsal at 1500.  Then after details were done at 1730, it was back to my office to finish up the last few things.  I left for dinner at 1840 and headed to the Oasis and ate with a bunch of the crew from Joyful Noez.  That sure was a great way to end up the super stressful day I had had, and we spent over an hour and a half in the chow hall just chatting and enjoying each other’s company.  Once home, I stitched for about 45 minutes and checked my e-mail and message boards.  Now it’s off to bed.

Today’s High:  111 (dust storm is gone)
Current:  93 (11:20 p.m.)
