Dad and I were talking today, and we decided that we both need to update our journals! So here I am, doing mine.
It was a pretty good week at work. We had a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday for a new building they’re putting up on post. Wednesday’s concert band rehearsal was NCO conducting so different NCOs could practice some ceremonial conducting. We finished up most of our CTT training Thursday and Friday – we only have 2 classes left and then we’ll be done for the year! That’s a good feeling, being done with that. Saturday Ryan and Robbie and I went to our friend Amy & Ray’s house to visit and stitch. They had fun playing with Robbie, and Ray played his guitar to put Robbie to sleep for his nap. That was kind of neat! Today was church and grocery shopping and then the NASCAR race. Our driver didn’t win, but that’s ok. You can’t win them all!
Robbie is growing and growing. And he’s starting to crawl faster. He’s not doing a full crawl yet, but more of a military-style low-crawl. He can really move when he wants to, though, so we’re really having to start to watch him when he’s playing. He’s also doing well with his solids he’s eating. He gets part of a banana mushed up at Suzanne’s as part of his morning snack and then he gets oatmeal in the evenings. His 6-month well-baby check up is on 7 March, and it will be interesting to see how much he weighs and how long (tall) he is!
Just about time for bed for me, so I’m going to go check my e-mail and message boards. Have a great week!
I guess he is “long” until he starts walking or standing up, then you will think of his height!
